Helixland is a modern vertically integrated unit that has been engaged in the production and processing of high-quality farmed snails since 2011. Its founders are Thomas and Nikolaos Giannikotsios, who have degrees in agricultural and veterinary sciences. The facility includes the breeding farms where the snails are produced and the laboratory space where the snails are processed and exceptional quality products (food and cosmetics) are prepared. The unit complies with all regulations and requirements of the Greek state for its operation, and our laboratory is certified with ISO 22000 and HACCP systems. It is located about 20 km outside the city of Kastoria at an altitude of over 600 meters near the Aliakmonas River in a clean and healthy natural environment.
